We have been keeping very busy so sorry for the lateness of this post. We hope you will enjoy the photos of our life as missionaries in Mexico during the last month.
Hemos estado bien ocupados, por eso estoy atrasado en escribir un post. Esperamos que puedan disfrutar las fotos de nuestras vidas como misioneros en Mexico en el mes pasado.
First of all, Happy Birthday to David!
We enjoyed a visit to a mission in Cueta (real name is hard to pronounce but it is spelled Ocozocouaultla). It was crazy traffic in their pueblo because of the Carnival festival going on, but the service was great and lunch with new friends was awesome too!
Primeramente, ¡Feliz Cumple a David!
Disfrutamos la visita a la misión en Cueta (Ocozocoautla). El trafico fue terrible con el festival de Carnival pasando en este día, pero el culto fue maravilloso y la comida con nuevos amigos fue excelente tambien!

Although we have few details, we can tell you that Kayley has LOVED her mission trip with MVNU to the Philippines. The group worked with children in a community of 30,000 people who have built their homes along the river where it floods many times per year.
Kayley en las Filipinas:
Aunque todavia no tenemos muchas detalles, podemos decirles que Kayley ha amado su viaje misionera a los Filipinas. El equipo trabajó con niños en una comunidad de 30,000 personas que tienen sus casas al lado del rio donde hay muchas inundaciones cada año.
Work Day near Jiquipilas:
We are getting old for too much physical labor, but for one day we tried to contribute to the new construction of a church after being destroyed by the earthquake.
Dia de Trabajo cerca de Jiquipilas:
Estamos un poco mayor de edad para tanto labor fisica, pero por un día intentamos de contribuir al nuevo construcción de una iglesia despues de ser destruida por el terremoto.
Visiting the church in our home community of Berriozabal:
The church is working on making block for a better perimeter wall. Can you imagine making the blocks one by one? This is how it is done!

Esta iglesia está trabajando duro para hacer los bloques para una pared de seguridad. ¿Podría imaginar haciendo los bloques uno por uno? Ellos son profesionales!
Shelley has enjoyed work with a local teacher to help the volunteers become more fluent in English. A great group of young leaders!

Shelley ha disfrutado trabajando con un maestro local para ayudar a los voluntarios ser más fluente en ingles. ¡Son un group de lideres/jovenes muy especiales!
We also visited a mission church in Teran, a community outside of Tuxtla.
David preached and we enjoyed getting to know the people. They meet on the front patio of a home.
Tambien visitamos una mision en Terán, una comunidad cerca de Tuxtla.
David predicó y disfrutamos mucho conociendo la gente. Ellos tienen los cultos en el patio de una casa.
Mission Connection:
Shelley is working with a few key leaders to organize the Work and Witness ministry within Mexico.
We are nearly done with the training materials and will soon begin to see more and more teams from Mexico serving in Mexico and beyond!
Misión Conexión:
Shelley está trabajando con algunos lideres claves para organizar el ministerio de TyT adentro de Mexico. Ya casi hemos terminado los materiales de entenamiento y pronto vamos a ver más y más groupos de México sirviendo en México y más allá.

This district is located a few hours north of us and needs a home for their new leader (DS).
We met a number of pastors and visited a few of the city churches.
We are praying for teams to help in this district in the future.
Visita al distrito de Olmeca:
Este distrito queda algunas horas norte de nosotros y ellos neceistan una casa por el nuevo superintendente.
Conocimos algunos pastores y visitamos algunas iglesias de la ciudad.
Sumidero Canyon:
We spent a few hours in the national park above the Sumidero canyon. We hiked a bit and the views were gorgeous. It is more than 1000 meters (3280 feet) high. Many of the teams who visit in Chiapas take the river boat ride down below. Just a small part of God's amazing creation.
Cañon Sumidero:
Pasamos algunas horas en el parque nacional arriba del cañon. Caminamos un poquito y las vistas son hermosas. Tiene la altura de 1000 metros. Muchos de los grupos que visiten a Chiapas toman la lanch abajo en el rio. Es solamente un parte pequeña de la asombrosa creación de Dios.
