Off and Running

Hello All,
It has been a good week here in Costa Rica. On Monday around 11am David returned from a trip to Panama. It was good to see him since he had only been able to call us one time in the 10 days. He enjoyed his time with the District Superintendent there and the local pastor where a number of ministries took place, including construction and children's programs. He also got to see the Panama canal, a place we hope to visit as a family some day soon.

As soon as David arrived, we were off to meetings with all the District Superintendents from Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica. They are all wonderful leaders who have passion for sharing the gospel with the people in their areas. This week we plan to travel to the San Pedro/Poas volcano area to visit with Johnny, the district superintendent of Costa Rica Norte. It will be good to see his church and the plans he has for the area of Costa Rica North.

We are waiting to receive a bit more training in Evangelism and hope to do that this week. This may involve David traveling to Guatemala for a few days. We'll see...

The kids are doing well. Joshua has enjoyed exploring the campus and finding all the good "hiking" places. When we were here in 2003, there was a concrete bridge across the stream that runs behind the seminary, but when we arrived we found it had washed away. So Joshua managed to find a way across the stream to explore the other side and since Kayley just had to see it for herself, Mom got involved as well. So below you can see Joshua and Kayley on the other side of the stream with a nice view of some of the campus buildings in the background.

Of course, we are enjoying the mountain views. Much of the time the mountains are covered in clouds, even though this is dry season and we've had no rain as of yet. But early in the morning, you can see the view all around. This scenic picture below is of the view to the east of the campus.

Well, That's about it for this week. We are anticipating a busy spring with 6 trips (2 to each country) and two Work and Witness teams planned before the end of April. We'll be staying very busy, but with God's help, all is possible!

Have a wonderful week!
Love from the Webb Family
