No way! Another month has passed already? Hard to believe we are now to the first
of June. We have been blessed to spend the last 8 months in Mexico and although
we are sad to have our friends and coworkers, the Sickel family, moving from a
missionary position to a Global Mission position in Lenexa, KS, we are excited
about how God is making the way for us to help with Work and Witness and Partnerships in
Mexico.
¡No puede ser! ¿Otro mes ha terminado? Es dificil creer que ya estamos en junio. Hemos sido bendicios compartir estos 8 meses en México y aunque estamos bien tristes a despedir nuestros amigos y colaboradores en el ministerio, la familia Sickel, quienes están mudandose a servir con Mision Global en Lenexa, Kansas USA, estamos entusiasmados sobre como Dios está planeando todo para nosotros a ayudar con TyT y Partnerships en México.

We traveled to Nashville, TN and the MidSouth District (our
home district) to attend the District Assembly.
The ordination service was a special time for us, and it was fun to see so many great friends from years past. The beautiful campground of Camp Garner Creek
did not disappoint. Beautiful as
always.
Viajamos a Nashville, Tennessee y el distrito de MidSouth (nuestro distrito) para asistir la Asamblea Distrital. El culto de la ordinacion fue especial para nosotros y fue divertido ver tantos amigos de los años pasados. El campamento de Garner Creek fue bonito, como siempre.

We spoke at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene (Franklin, TN),
Gray’s Chapel (Cunningham, TN), Trevecca Towers (Nashville), Paris COTN, Woodlawn COTN, and finally,
Erin COTN. We were blessed in each
location.
Hablamos en varias iglesias cerca de Nashville. (Puedes ver la lista arriba). Recibimos muchas bendiciones en cada iglesia.
We enjoyed some family time in Iowa for Mother’s Day
week. It was a memorable family time that
we do not get to enjoy too often.

We arrived home to Berriozabal, Chiapas and hit the ground
running. We are taking over some new
responsibilities like ordering water, paying electric and other bills, and
working with the finances for Work and Witness Mexico. There is lots to get used to, but we are well
on our way.
Llegamos a casa en Berriozabal, Chiapas y empezamos a trabajar inmediatamente. Tenemos nuevas responsibilidades como ordenar el agua, pagar la luz y otros gastos y trabajando con las finances de TyT México. Hay mucho que aprender.
We took a one day trip to the Sur Sierra district to view
four projects: a rehab center for drugs addicts, and three growing
missions/churches in need of a parsonage or a roof on the church. One of the ways we serve is to connect people
to projects like these, so let us know if you would like to join the five
Partnerships already taking place in Mexico.
Tomamos un día para visitar el distrito de Sur Sierra para ver 4 diferentes proyectos: un centro de rehablitacion, y tres diferentes iglesias o misiones que están crecidendo y necesitan un techo o casa pastoral. Una manera que servimos es conectar la gente con proyectos así. Déjanos saber si quiere ser parte de un Partnership en México.

Stephen and Anne, along with some valiant helpers, made the long
drive from Berriozabal to Kansas City in three days, with three vehicles and most of their stuff. We got the good end of
the deal and stayed with the kiddos for a few days. Happy
to report that everyone survived, the border crossing went well, and Anne is
back home with the kids. Whew!
Stephen y Ana y algunos amigos valientes, hicieron el viaje de Berriozabal hasta Kansas City en tres días, con tres vehiculos y la mayoria de la mudanza. Tuvimos la bendicion de quedarnos con los niños por algunos días. Estamos contentos reportar que todos sobrevivieron, la cruzada en la frontera fue bueno y Ana está en casa ahora con los niños.

Tuvimos el privilegio asistir el retiro para Genesis en Queretaro. Volamos a la Ciudad de México y despues tomamos un bus para llegar a Queretaro (3.5 hrs). Fue muy facil y disfrutamos mucho nuestro tiempo con los cuatro misioneras que están plantando una iglesia en la ciudad. Ellas han estado allá por seis meses y ya tienen 100 personas en sus grupos. Estamos orando por un espacio para reunir todos para los estudios biblicas, cultos y otros ministerios.

Life transitions just keep coming and soon we will say
goodbye to the Sickel family. Their move brings many changes to our lives,
not the least of which is missing their family of five. But beyond that, there are ministry needs to
consider. We are pleased to be working
with such a good team of volunteers who have hearts for the Work and Witness
ministry. Jessi, Max, Mitchel and Mario
are all great volunteers who make our lives much easier.
Transiciones en la vida continúa y pronto tenemos que despedir la familia Sickel. Su salida trae cambios a nuestros vidas, y por supuesto vamos a extrañar mucho todos de ellos. Además, hay necesidades ministeriales también. Estamos contentos tener un buen grupo de voluntarios quienes tienen llamados de Dios para trabajar con TyT. Jessi, Max, Mitchel, y Mario son algunos de ellos que hacen el ministerio más facil para nosotros.
Good news! We
understand that a donor in Idaho would like to offer his pickup truck to
W&W Mexico. This is great news since
we really need a truck for the ministry.
The only issue is the funding to bring it into Mexico: $5000 is
needed. If you would like to contribute
to these costs so the ministry can have a truck to haul supplies and visit
projects, just let us know. Our car is just not sufficient for the W&W ministry.
¡Buenas noticias¡ Entendemos que hay un donador en Idado que quiere ofrecer su pickup para TyT México. Son buenas noticas y realmente necesitamos esta ayuda. El problema es que cuesta como $5,000 dólares para importar el carro a México. Estamos orando por esta necesidad pues nuestro carro no es suficiente para el ministerio de TyT.
